About the role
This is an opportunity to lead a diverse portfolio of services across East Arnhem Land while helping shape the future direction of a rapidly growing organisation.
You will be responsible for operational leadership across disability, homelessness and wellbeing programs, ensuring services are safe, compliant, financially sustainable and focused on delivering meaningful outcomes for participants and communities.
You will lead a team of support workers, team leaders and case managers while building strong relationships with participants, families, local leaders, allied health services, government agencies and other key stakeholders.
This role requires a leader who can balance strategy and execution, inspire teams, manage complexity and make sound decisions in remote service environments.
Key Responsbilities
Provide leadership across disability, homelessness and wellbeing services throughout East Arnhem Land, ensuring safe, effective and client-focused service delivery.
Build a high-performing culture by coaching, mentoring and supporting case managers, team leaders and frontline teams to achieve strong outcomes.
Drive accountability, quality and compliance to ensure services meet NDIS Practice Standards, funding requirements, organizational policies and legislative obligations, while maintaining a strong focus on safeguarding and continuous improvement.
Oversee incident management, risk frameworks, workforce scheduling, assets and operational systems to ensure services are safe, sustainable and efficient in the context of the East Arnhem region
Build local community and stakeholder relationships, to support the work of our Growth, Advocacy and Partnerships team.
Develop strong relationships with participants, families, community leaders, government agencies and partner organisations, representing Country Connect across the region.
Work closely with the COO and Executive Leadership Team to implement strategy, strengthen service delivery and support the ongoing growth of Country Connect Foundation.
About you
You are an experienced senior leader with a strong track record of leading complex community, health, disability or human services programs.
You bring:
Significant leadership experience in disability, homelessness, health, community services or a related sector.
Demonstrated success leading geographically dispersed teams and supporting isolated and remote teams.
Strong operational management and service delivery experience.
Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
Experience managing compliance, quality assurance and risk frameworks.
Financial management and budget accountability experience.
Strong communication, leadership and decision-making capability.
Commitment to culturally safe, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
Experience working with Aboriginal communities and/or remote service delivery environments will be highly regarded.
Knowledge of NDIS and homelessness service systems will be highly regarded.
