Niño Early Learning Adventures is seeking a passionate and creative Art Teacher to join our Ivanhoe centre. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire young children through engaging, hands-on art experiences that nurture creativity, confidence, curiosity, and self-expression.
Working with children aged 2–5 years, you will create meaningful opportunities for exploration and discovery through visual arts, helping children develop their creative voice in a supportive and inspiring early learning environment.
About the Role
As our Art Teacher, you will deliver small-group art experiences designed to foster imagination, creative thinking, and a lifelong love of learning while working 3 days per week (8 hours per day).
Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging art sessions to small groups of 4–5 children on a rotation throughout the day

Plan and facilitate developmentally appropriate visual arts experiences

Encourage creativity, experimentation, and self-expression through a variety of artistic mediums

Support children's learning, wellbeing, confidence, and sense of identity through the arts

Create a welcoming and inspiring art environment where children feel safe to explore and create

Observe, document, and celebrate children's artistic learning and development

Collaborate with educators and centre leadership to enrich the educational program
About You
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, nurturing, and passionate about inspiring young children through creative experiences.
Key Requirements:

Experience working with children aged 2–5 years

Relevant Art qualification (degree, diploma, or equivalent)

ACECQA approved Early Childhood qualification (or willingness to work within ACECQA requirements)

Valid Working With Children Check (Employee)

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
-
Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
-
Ability to engage, inspire, and connect with young learners
-
A genuine passion for creativity, early childhood education, and child-led learning

Up to date First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certificates

Familiarity with the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Framework (preferred, but not essential)
