A Day in the Life
As the YSL Education Manager, you will be the driving force behind educational excellence for one of our most prestigious and iconic Couture beauty brands. Reporting to the Brand Director, you will design and implement inspiring brand education and training strategies that empower our retail teams, elevate the consumer experience, and drive business success.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop & Deliver the YSL Education Strategy: Design and facilitate best-in-class YSL Education training programs (in person and virtually) —spanning brand inductions, product knowledge, luxury retail service, Beauty Tech tools and advanced sales techniques—for our Beauty Advisors and retail partners.
- Create Compelling Content: Author and adapt engaging training tools, tailoring global YSL material to resonate powerfully across the ANZ market.
- Manage & Develop Talent: Empower and direct the National Makeup Artist as a key direct report to elevate artistry standards and brand representation, while actively coaching, inspiring, and guiding the retail teams to execute flawless education initiatives, outstanding customer service and positive sales results.
- Collaborate Across the XL Model and with External Partners: Partner closely with key stakeholders internally across the Brand, CMO and CGO teams to align education strategies with the overall brand strategy, omni channel campaigns, CXE and NPS KPI’s and commercial objectives.
NB: This is a Max Term Contract until September 2027
We Are Looking For

We believe in your potential to grow and align with our values.
You're a great match for this role if you possess:
- Education & Training Delivery: Expertise in designing, coaching and facilitating impactful training programs for diverse audiences in a luxury retail environment with the ability to drive the achievement of excellent sales results and retail operation excellence.
- Artistry & People Management: Experience leading and mentoring specialized talent, specifically managing high-profile artistry roles like a National Makeup Artist to drive brand advocacy.
- Business Acumen: A strong understanding of the luxury market, retail dynamics, and how education contributes to achieving commercial targets.
- Modern Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to navigate the XL model, building highly collaborative relationships across both Brand and CMO divisions.
- Creativity & Innovation: A flair for creating engaging content and embracing new digital tools and methodologies to elevate the learning experience.
- Travel Requirements: Due to the nature of this role, you will need to have the flexibility and availability to travel, attend events outside of business hours and act as an integral point of contact between your team, L'Oréal and key retail partners.
