THE ROLE
We’re looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Wholesale team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, looking after a portfolio of customers across Vans, Timberland, Saucony and Merrell!
This is a hands-on sales role for someone who knows their accounts, understands the footwear and apparel landscape and knows how to turn strong relationships into commercial results. You’ll own your accounts end-to-end, from selling in future ranges and bringing brand stories to life, through to managing the order book, driving sell-through and identifying opportunities to grow the business.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage and grow a portfolio of wholesale accounts across Vans, Timberland, Saucony and Merrell
- Sell in future ranges, bringing each brand’s product, stories and commercial priorities to life
- Own the order book, maximise available stock and identify opportunities to drive incremental sales
- Monitor account performance and sell-through, using insights to identify opportunities and risks
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key customers through showroom and buying appointments, store visits, calls, meetings and regular communication
- Work closely with internal teams to deliver accurate forecasting, smooth order management and great customer outcomes
- Support trading terms and commercial negotiations to deliver profitable growth
- Stay close to the market, your customers and the brands, keeping across product, trends, competitors and what’s happening across footwear, apparel and sport
- Manage your account costs responsibly, including travel, samples, marketing and entertainment
- Work collaboratively with brand partners, internal teams and global HQ to deliver shared commercial goals
ABOUT YOU
- 2 years’ experience in sales or account management
- Strong understanding of retail, footwear and apparel
- Experience across wholesale, sport, fashion or retail is highly regarded
- Strong commercial acumen with a proven ability to deliver sales results
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Strong organisation and time management skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities
- A collaborative, adaptable and proactive approach
