About the Role
Sincero Ability is looking for compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide person-centred support to NDIS participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL), community access, and in-home settings. You'll support participants to achieve their goals while promoting independence, safety, and wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support community access, appointments, shopping, and social activities.
- Help with meal preparation, household tasks, and medication assistance (where required).
- Follow individual support plans and Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
- Complete case notes and incident reports.
- Promote participant choice, dignity, and independence.
- Work collaboratively with participants, families, and the support team.
Essential Requirements
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- Valid Australian Driver Licence and reliable insured vehicle.
- NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate.
- Right to work in Australia.
- Excellent communication skills and a positive, reliable attitude.
Desirable
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services.
- Experience supporting people with disability and implementing Positive Behaviour Support.
- Medication administration and manual handling experience.
- Availability for evening, weekend, sleepover, and public holiday shifts.
Pay: $32.00 – $45.00 per hour
