Senior Wait Staff – Black Rock
We’re looking for an experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to join our day team at a busy restaurant in Black Rock.
This is can be a casual or full-time role working 5 days per week, 7:30am - 3:30pm. We’re looking for someone who can commit to all 5 days consistently. (Wed-Sun).
You’ll be working as part of a small FOH team, so we need someone who is comfortable jumping straight into service, running their own section and looking after guests without needing constant direction.
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience in a busy cafe environment is essential
- Confident running a section independently
- Strong table service and customer service skills
- Good food and beverage knowledge
- Comfortable taking orders, making recommendations and managing multiple tables
- Reliable, organised and able to stay on top of things during busy services
- Works well as part of a small team
- Available for all 5 rostered days each week
We’re a busy neighbourhood cafe with a strong focus on good food, coffee and relaxed but professional service. We’re not looking for overly formal service, but we do expect attention to detail, good communication and someone who genuinely knows how to look after a section.
