About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and hands-on Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our busy indoor play centre. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, family-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.
As the Supervisor, you will oversee all aspects of the centre's operations, including customer service, staff leadership, safety, party coordination, and financial performance. You will play a key role in creating a fun, welcoming, and safe environment for children and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the play centre.
- Lead, train, motivate, and support a team of staff.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer enquiries or concerns professionally.
- Ensure the centre is clean, safe, and compliant with all health and safety requirements.
- Coordinate birthday parties, events, and group bookings.
- Monitor staffing levels, prepare rosters, and manage payroll requirements.
- Maintain stock levels and order supplies as required.
- Oversee cash handling, daily reporting, and budget management.
- Work towards achieving sales and operational targets.
- Foster a positive, energetic, and team-oriented workplace culture.
About You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous management or supervisory experience in hospitality, retail, entertainment, childcare, or a similar customer-focused industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work weekends, school holidays, and public holidays as required.
- Confidence in handling busy operational environments.
- A proactive attitude with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Current First Aid and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain) is desirable.
