What you'll be doing
The Transitional Nurse Practitioner (TNP) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) role is to provide consultation, treatment and referral services to patients with substance use issues in accordance with the role’s Scope of Practice
The TNP / NP role is grounded in the nursing profession's values, knowledge, theories and practice and provides innovative and flexible health care delivery that complements other health care providers (ANMC 200. TNP / NPs practice collaboratively as an interdependent member of the multidisciplinary health care team and provide autonomous, person-centred care.
