The Opportunity on Offer
Reporting directly to the Head of Asset Management & Procurement, this role plays an essential part in supporting regional operations and ensuring effective management of property assets, compliance, and capital works across multiple sites.
How will you make an Impact:
- Oversee and manage property asset performance, compliance, and risk across the region
- Provide monthly reporting on property performance, WHS incidents, compliance, contractor performance, and capital works
- Ensure all properties meet legislative requirements including NCC, aged care standards, and safety regulations
- Manage service contracts, contractors, and supplier relationships in line with Aeralife standards
- Support and mentor property and maintenance teams across multiple sites
- Coordinate and manage capital works programs, ensuring delivery on time and within budget
- Maintain Essential Safety Measure compliance across all sites
- Assist with budgeting and financial management (Opex and Capex)
- Investigate, manage, and report property-related WHS incidents
- Drive continuous improvement across property condition, compliance, and service delivery
About You
You are a proactive and experienced property professional with strong leadership capability and a passion for ensuring safe and compliant environments. You can manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple sites and stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience in property, facilities, or asset management (aged care or health sector preferred)
- Relevant qualifications in Building Construction, Property, or Facilities Management
- Strong understanding of compliance requirements including NCC, Australian Standards, and aged care legislation
- Experience in contractor and project management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks and meet deadlines
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems
- Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
- Current Covid-19 Vaccinations - highly recommended
