Madison Tower Mill Hotel is located in the centre of the medical precinct of Spring Hill, only a short walk to Brisbane CBD. We are a smaller Hotel with 70 rooms with a Pub style Restaurant, bar and gaming.
Room Attendant – Housekeeping
Please note: All necessary training will be provided, the successful candidate must be available to work weekends at a minimum. Shifts are available Monday to Sunday from 8:00am to approximately 3:00pm. Shifts can range between 4 to 6 hours. Around 10-20 hours per week.
Key duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Change linen and empty the linen chute
- Sweep/mop floors, vacuum carpets and dust furniture
- Replenish bath care products (e.g., soap and shampoo) and restock any necessary items
- Address guests’ queries and help guests retrieve lost items
- Ensure all assigned rooms are clean and tidy by the end of the shift
- Follow hotel security and safety guidelines
- Performing any basic maintenance, or report any major maintenance items to Reception
As a successful candidate you will have:
- Previous work experience as a Room Attendant (preferred)
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products (preferred)
- Good physical health and stamina
- Flexibility and reliability with shifts, able to be called in last minute
- Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and checklists
- Great with whatsapp communication
