We are a repetition CNC machining workshop looking for a reliable and detail-focused Factory Hand / Workshop Cleaner to help keep our manufacturing environment clean, organised and running smoothly.
A key part of this role is maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and order throughout the workshop. We are looking for someone who takes pride in a clean workplace, notices when something needs attention and is happy to take ownership of regular cleaning and housekeeping tasks.
This is a hands-on role combining workshop cleaning, organisation and general production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning and maintaining workshop and manufacturing areas to a high standard
- Keeping floors, machinery surrounds, work areas and common areas clean and tidy
- Regular removal and management of metal chips, swarf and general workshop waste
- Cleaning around CNC machines and other production equipment in accordance with safety procedures
- Keeping tools, equipment, materials and designated storage areas organised
- Completing scheduled daily and weekly cleaning and housekeeping tasks
- Identifying areas that require cleaning, tidying or attention without always needing to be asked
- Assisting with general factory and production duties as required
- Following workplace safety procedures and maintaining clear, safe work areas
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a strong eye for detail and cleanliness
- Takes pride in keeping a workplace clean, organised and presentable
- Is reliable, punctual and comfortable taking responsibility for regular tasks
- Is proactive and willing to take initiative
- Is comfortable with repetitive and routine work
- Can follow instructions and work safely in a manufacturing environment
- Has good English communication skills
- Is comfortable working around machinery in an active factory environment
Previous experience in factory cleaning, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, CNC machining, metalwork or similar environments would be highly regarded but is not essential.
