The Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team in a hands-on, individual contributor role. This position is focused on strengthening the compliance framework across obligations management, regulatory change, control environments, and incident management.
You will work closely with stakeholders across the business and contribute to a range of strategic and regulatory initiatives.
The role is suited to someone who enjoys ownership and delivery and does not include leadership responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the compliance obligations framework within an AFSL-regulated environment
- Lead regulatory change activities, including assessing and implementing new and evolving obligations
- Partner with the business to provide practical compliance guidance and ensure controls are effective
- Support incident and issue management, including remediation and continuous improvement
- Contribute to control frameworks, second line testing, and audit processes
- Support strategic compliance and regulatory projects
- Utilise GRC system (e.g. RediNow) to manage obligations, controls, and reporting
About You
- Experience in compliance or risk within an AFSL environment
- Experience working in a complex, operational or enterprise-style environment, rather than purely advisory-based compliance environment.
- Understanding of compliance frameworks, control environments, and regulatory obligations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
- Experience across control testing, incident management, and regulatory change
- Detail-oriented with a solutions-focused mindset
- Experience with GRC systems such as RediNow is desirable
