The role:
Reporting to the Principal Project Manager, the Project Officer will assist to deliver, monitor, and report on project activities against agreed criteria. Maintain relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, facilitate effective communications and foster relationships.
Key responsibilities include:
Assist in the planning and coordination of Procurement activities.
Manage the Asset Management Lifecyle activities.
Manage and monitor expenses against project forecasts.
Monitor the project schedule against the approved project baseline.
Provide secretariat and administrative functions as requested by the Principal Project Manager
Maintain program/project files in accordance with Queensland Health regulations and policies.
The successful person:
To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills and an ability to coordinate multiple tasks within agreed priorities, timeframes and accountabilities. Experience in an IM/ICT project environment, including scheduling, risk management, reporting and budgeting, and an ability to coordinate the delivery of work packages.
You will have knowledge of appropriate project management methodologies and ability to provide advice on the use of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools, with Experience in, or the ability to assist with the compilation of program/project information, maintenance of program/project files and the preparation and presentation of management reports
The preferred candidate will have knowledge of appropriate project management techniques, methodologies and tools (preferably PRINCE2).
Experience in Service Now (SNOW), S/4 HANA and Project on-line highly desirable
