Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to the restaurant’s menu and standards
- Assist in menu planning and food preparation procedures
- Monitor food quality, portion control, and presentation standards
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area
- Ensure food storage complies with health and safety regulations
- Check stock levels and assist with ordering ingredients and supplies
- Work efficiently during busy service periods and coordinate with kitchen staff
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Commercial Cookery or related field preferred
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience as a Cook
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude
