New opportunity for a Risk Analyst to join our Line 1 Risk Management community, where you will work closely with key Line 1 departments and the Line 2 CRO team to strengthen the Bank's risk culture and risk and compliance management practices.
About the role
Lead and/or contribute to the design and implementation of target state operational risk and compliance frameworks, policies and standards.
Provide subject matter expertise, coaching, training and guidance to support business areas in implementing and embedding enhanced risk management practices.
Support the preparation and delivery of risk and compliance reporting, providing meaningful insights to stakeholders and contributing to effective governance outcomes.
Conduct control testing and related assurance activities to assess the effectiveness of key controls and support compliance with the Bank's risk management frameworks, policies and standards.
Manage internal and external relationships and collaborate effectively with key stakeholders to drive strong risk and compliance outcomes.
About you
Demonstrated ability to support business areas and Line 2 stakeholders in strengthening risk management practices.
Demonstrated understanding of current industry best practice in risk and/or compliance frameworks and practices, preferably within central banking or the broader financial services sector.
Demonstrated ability to communicate accountabilities and responsibilities within a mature Three Lines of Accountability (Three Lines of Defence) model.
Demonstrated ability to identify and anticipate risk and/or compliance-related challenges arising from the Bank's strategy and operational processes.
Sound understanding of organisation-wide risk and compliance frameworks, policies and standards, with the ability to monitor compliance, provide guidance and influence business and Line 2 stakeholders.
Experience supporting risk reporting, control testing and/or assurance activities will be highly regarded.
