Job Description:
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Telecom domain experience across BSS, OSS, CRM, billing, charging, campaign, customer, product, revenue or network datasets.
- Experience in hybrid data environments involving legacy BI platforms and cloudnative data platforms.
- Experience with AWS S3, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, Step Functions or other AWS ecosystem services.
Experience with pipeline observability, operational dashboards, alerting, automation and proactive monitoring.
Experience with data governance, metadata management, lineage, data quality and operational controls.
- Experience in cloud migration or modernization from legacy DWH platforms to cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with ITIL, Agile, DevOps, CI/CD and release governance processes.
- Understanding of data privacy, customer data handling and operational risk controls.
The ideal candidate should have good understanding of telecom business data and operational processes, including:
- Customer segmentation and eligibility data
- KPI reporting for business, operations, marketing and executive teams
Telecom exposure is desirable because the role requires understanding how businesscritical data supports daily operational decisions, customer campaigns, revenue reporting, service performance and executive KPI dashboards. Existing internal references describe telecom environments involving BS S/OSS, Siebel, SAS, Teradata, RTDM and Qlik applications.
The candidate should demonstrate:
- Strong business-facing communication skills.
- Ability to explain technical data/platform issues in simple business language.
- Strong ownership mindset for production stability and business outcomes.
- Ability to manage high-pressure incidents and critical escalations.
- Strong stakeholder management across business, IT, vendors and operations teams.
