Parliamentary Services is seeking a professional, organised and community-minded full time Assistant Electorate Officer to join the office of Hon. Ann Leahy MP, Member for Warrego, based in Roma.
This is a full-time position supporting the Member and Electorate Officer in delivering high-quality services to constituents, engaging with local organisations and stakeholders, and assisting with the daily operations of a busy electorate office.
Key Objectives
Provide high-quality administrative and support services to the Warrego Electorate Office.
Assist constituents, community groups and stakeholders by responding to enquiries and helping resolve concerns.
Support the effective day-to-day operations of the Member's office and community engagement activities.
Your Role
Provide administrative support including correspondence, research, data entry and records management.
Respond to constituent enquiries via phone, email and in person in a professional and timely manner.
Maintain positive relationships with community organisations, government agencies and key stakeholders.
Provide general office support including reception, filing, document management and office administration.
Work collaboratively with the Electorate Officer to ensure the smooth operation of the office.
