BrightMark Group Pty Ltd provides premium commercial cleaning services tailored to the needs of a diverse range of industries and clients across the local government, education, commercial and private sectors. Located in Nedlands, WA 6009, our organisation is continuing to expand and is seeking a skilled and motivated full-time Contract Administrator to join our team.
The base salary offered is $80,000–$90,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with skills and experience.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Drafting, reviewing and finalising contracts in accordance with legal requirements and company policies.
- Engage in contract review and negotiation processes with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Negotiating contract terms and conditions with relevant stakeholders.
- Preparing contract variations, amendments and supporting documentation, ensuring all changes are properly documented and agreed upon by the relevant parties.
- Maintaining accurate contract registers, files, databases and compliance records.
- Monitoring contract performance against agreed timelines, budgets, KPIs and contractual obligations.
- Preparing monthly reports on contract status, performance and compliance.
- Managing contract renewals, extensions, close-out procedures and final performance evaluations.
- Coordinating procurement and contract administration processes.
- Liaising with clients, subcontractors, legal teams, finance teams and other internal and external stakeholders regarding contractual matters.
- Responding to contract-related enquiries and serving as a key point of contact for clients on contractual matters.
- Identifying contractual risks, resolving issues and disputes where possible, and escalating matters appropriately.
- Monitoring and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
- Participating in contract audits and compliance reviews.
- Using contract management systems and databases to maintain and update contract information.
- Supporting effective contract risk management and implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract administration processes and staying informed of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements.
Skills and Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Law, Project Management or a closely related discipline.
- At least one year of full-time experience in a similar contract administration or contract management role.
- Strong contract drafting, review and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive records.
- Proficiency in contract management systems, databases and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
- A sound understanding of contract compliance, documentation requirements and risk management.
Pay: $80,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
