Traralgon Aged Care is seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Wellbeing Assistant to join our dedicated team. In this rewarding role, you'll support the delivery of engaging lifestyle and wellbeing programs that promote independence, social connection and quality of life for our residents.

About the Role
As a Wellbeing Assistant, you'll work closely with the Lifestyle team to plan and deliver meaningful activities tailored to residents' interests, abilities and individual needs. You'll help create a warm, inclusive and vibrant environment where residents are encouraged to remain active, connected and engaged.
Key Responsibilities

Assist in planning and delivering engaging group and individual lifestyle activities.

Encourage resident participation while promoting independence, dignity and choice.

Support social, recreational, cultural and therapeutic programs.

Build positive relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
-
Assist with special events, celebrations and community outings.

Prepare activity spaces and resources before and after programs.

Monitor resident participation and report changes in wellbeing to the clinical team.

Maintain accurate activity attendance and documentation.

Ensure activities are delivered safely and in line with infection prevention and workplace health and safety requirements.

Contribute to creating a welcoming and enjoyable home-like environment.
About You

A reliable and flexible approach to work.

Previous experience in aged care, disability, community services or recreation (desirable).

Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, Leisure & Health (required).
