The Island at Elizabeth Quay is looking for experienced Duty Managers to join our leadership team.
Located in the heart of Perth's CBD, The Island is one of the city's most iconic waterfront venues. From casual dining and family outings to corporate functions, weddings, and live entertainment, no two days are the same. We're looking for hands-on leaders who thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment and lead by example.
What we're looking for:
✅ Previous experience as a Duty Manager or in a hospitality leadership role
✅ A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certificate – essential
✅ A current Approved Manager's Certificate – essential
✅ Experience opening and closing a busy venue
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
✅ The ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure
✅ A strong focus on customer service and team development
✅ Availability to work nights, weekends, and public holidays
This is a hands-on management role. You'll be leading the team from the floor, supporting service, managing operations, handling customer enquiries, and ensuring every guest has a great experience. We're looking for someone who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and get involved wherever needed.
