CAFE MANAGER – FULL-TIME
Location: Coffee Club, Centuria Bunbury Centrepoint, Bunbury, Western Australia
Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per annum
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Cafe Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy cafe. The successful candidate will be passionate about customer service, team leadership, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the cafe.
- Recruit, train, supervise, and develop a high-performing team.
- Manage service flow and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, coffee service, cleanliness, and presentation.
- Prepare staff rosters and oversee labor costs.
- Monitor stock levels, place orders, and control inventory.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, workplace health and safety, and company policies.
- Drive team performance, accountability, and consistency.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve business objectives and support business growth.
Essential Requirements:
- At least one year of experience as a Cafe Manager or in a similar hospitality management role.
- Diploma of Hospitality Management or Diploma of Business Management (or equivalent qualification) is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Experience in staff rostering, stock control, and the day-to-day management of cafe operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
- Sound knowledge of food safety, workplace health and safety, and hospitality industry standards.
