Bakery Packer - Casual
We are looking for a reliable and self-motivated Casual Packer to join our bakery logistics team.
Working closely with our bakery and logistics teams, you will be responsible for organising freshly prepared products from the kitchen into customer and venue orders, ensuring they are packed accurately and ready for collection by our delivery drivers.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, organise and pack bakery products into daily orders
- Prepare completed orders for collection by delivery drivers
- Pack bakery items into bags and packaging ready for retail sale
- Check orders for accuracy and presentation
- Assist with organising and preparing orders for upcoming days
- Maintain a clean, organised and efficient packing area
- Work collaboratively with our bakery and logistics team to meet daily dispatch deadlines
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Is reliable and punctual, with the ability to start work at 3:00am
- Works efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy
- Is organised and comfortable working to daily deadlines
- Has strong attention to detail
- Is self-motivated and able to work independently
- Enjoys working as part of a small, supportive team
Previous experience in a bakery, food production, warehouse, packing or logistics environment would be beneficial, but is not essential for the right person.
This is a casual position with an immediate start available.
