- Prepare, cook and present high-quality meals in accordance with Jamaica Blue standards.
- Plan and organise food preparation and cooking activities.
- Assist with menu planning and the development of new menu items.
- Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety standards.
- Manage stock levels, ordering and storage of food supplies.
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen operations and assist with staff training as required.
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
- Minimum of 12 months full-time experience working as a Chef.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and kitchen operations.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy team environment.
This is a full-time position offering an annual salary of AUD $77,000 – $80,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.
Pay: $77,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
