Job Description- GAME MASTER
The Game Master is responsible for ensuring an unforgettably fun and exciting experience for our customers.
As a Game Master, your responsibilities will include:
- Being outgoing, courteous and engaging with all participants.
- Setting up escape rooms between sessions and ensuring all props and game elements are in proper working order. This often needs to be completed within a short turnaround time.
- Greeting participants, delivering game briefings and introducing the room's story and objectives.
- Monitoring games and providing hints or assistance when required while maintaining immersion.
- Taking payments and processing bookings (must be confident handling money).
- Tidying and cleaning escape rooms and other business areas.
- Assisting with the maintenance and organisation of props, game materials and business inventory.
- Assisting with customer enquiries via phone, email and social media when required.
- Helping maintain booking systems and ensuring games run on schedule.
- Assisting with promotional activities, both onsite and occasionally offsite.
- Managing time effectively to ensure the smooth operation of multiple game sessions and completion of daily tasks.

Hours
4–16 hours per week
Weekend and weeknight availability is essential.
Our busiest periods are:
- Weeknights: 5:00pm – 10:00pm
- Weekends: 9:00am – Midnight
Additional hours may be available during school holidays and peak periods.
Requirements
- Must be comfortable speaking to groups and interacting with customers.
- Must be comfortable being on your feet for extended periods and moving props or equipment when required.
- Ability to work evening and weekend shifts.
- Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Experience
No prior experience is required. We're looking for people who are confident speaking to groups, enjoy interacting with customers and can learn quickly.
If you've played escape rooms before, that's a bonus!
Pay: $24.95 – $31.00 per hour
