Freighter Group is one of Australia's largest manufacturers of heavy duty road transport equipment and solutions. Based in Wendouree and due to ongoing growth, we are looking for Production Team Members to join the team.
The Opportunity
We are currently seeking general Fitters to join our expanding team.
In this hands-on position, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will be performing general labouring duties, manual handling and the use of hand and power tools.
The successful candidates will have a strong drive and motivation to succeed and be able to work in a safety conscious environment.
This role is paying up to $34 - $40 per hour!
About You
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience
- Relevant trade qualification or experience in lieu
- Competent with using hand and power tools
- Keen, reliable and a strong work ethic
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and think on your feet
- Have a commitment to workplace health and safety
- Willing to undertake pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, and functional capacity testing
