About the Role
Reporting to the Partnership Manager, the Event and Partnership Coordinator is responsible for generating and coordinating function business across VenuesWest venues portfolio, predominately focusing on RAC Arena, ensuring the clients' every requirment is satisfied. The role ensures all function enquiries and bookings are converted efficiently and sales opportunities are maximised.
The Event and Partnership Coordinator plays a critical role in driving revenue growth through proactive sales, relationship management and value-added upselling initiatives, consistently working to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
This is a permanent full-time position. It is expected that this position will be required to work occasionally outside of normal work hours to meet event requirements. Applicable shift loadings may apply for work undertaken outside standard business hours.
Whilst the position will be based at RAC Arena in Perth’s CBD, mobility may be required between the portfolio of facilities.
Due to the nature of the work undertaken, this position may be exposed to traumatic events in the workplace. VenuesWest is committed to proactively ensuring the psychosocial safety and health of our workers through risk control and provision of services to support workers exposed to and impacted by traumatic events.

About the Person
We are seeking an experienced events professional with a strong background in corporate functions, event management or sponsorship. You will deliver accurate, timely and comprehensive event correspondence throughout the planning process, maintaining exceptional service standards and attention to detail for all internal and external key stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will bring a collaborative and confident communication style, working effectively to build relationships. You will have a strong sales focus, with the ability to translate event requirements into successful events delivering high‑quality outcomes through event execution and contribute to the commercial operations and customer experience.
