Support the day-to-day coordination of operational and administrative activities across Commercial Administration, Apprenticeship and Traineeship administration functions, and the broader portfolio, ensuring accurate, timely and consistent service delivery to internal and external stakeholders.
Contribute to effective workflow management, team coordination, service quality, compliance with business processes, and continuous improvement.
This position reports to the relevant Manager within Customer Engagement and Student Services portfolio.

This is a Temporary, Full-time opportunity, to 18 December 2026 unless otherwise determined.
The position will be based primarily atMount Gravatt however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative.
Coordinate the day-to-day operations of Commercial Administration and Apprenticeship and Traineeship Administration, including prioritising work, allocating tasks and monitoring workflow to ensure timely, accurate and consistent service delivery. Identify and escalate emerging operational issues, risks and service impacts.
Support the manager in the day-to-day supervision of staff, including workflow coordination, task allocation, onboarding, training and coaching, to build capability and ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
Provide operational guidance and advice to staff across enquiry-to-enrolment administration, funding processes, commercial administration, apprenticeships and traineeships, record keeping, and the application of relevant policies, procedures and business rules.
Manage escalated operational and administrative matters, supporting timely resolution, providing constructive feedback, and reinforcing consistent application of processes and service standards.
Collaborate effectively with internal teams across the broader portfolio to support operational continuity, resolve issues and improve end-to-end processes.
Maintain accurate administrative records and utilise systems and platforms to support service delivery, reporting requirements and operational insights.
Contribute to the development, review and continuous improvement of operational procedures and work instructions to strengthen consistency, compliance and efficiency across Commercial and Apprenticeship and Traineeship Administration.
Support the achievement of service levels, business timeframes and operational targets by monitoring workflow and ensuring timely and accurate processing of administrative activities, including customer requests, enrolment-related administration, contract, finance and delivery requirements.
Contribute to reporting and provide insight to the Manager on workflow, service demand, risks and performance, ensuring alignment with broader business operations and strategic priorities.
Participate in additional projects and initiatives as required.

Proficiency in using systems and data to manage workload, support reporting and identify opportunities to improve processes and service delivery.
Mandatory Qualifications/Requirements
There are no mandatory requirements for this role.
Highly Desirable
Experience in a commercial, apprenticeships/traineeships, VET or broader student administration environment.
High level of proficiency using enterprise systems and Microsoft 365 within a high-volume operational environment.
Experience supporting workflow coordination, coaching staff, and contributing to process improvement.
