At i-Help Disability Services, we’re looking for warm, chatty, compassionate Support Workers who truly care about making a difference people who can build trust, create connection, and help participants live fuller, happier lives.
You will support participants in their homes by assisting with:
- Daily living activities
- Community access and social participation
- Personal care and domestic tasks
- Medication assistance
- Transport to appointments and activities

Essential Skills, Training & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven, hands-on experience within the mental health space, along with a calm, compassionate approach to supporting people with complex needs.
You will have:
- A minimum of 2+ years’ direct experience working in mental health settings, supporting individuals with psychosocial disabilities and complex behaviours
- Demonstrated experience supporting participants who may engage in self-harm, emotional dysregulation, or high-risk behaviours, using trauma-informed and person-centred approaches
- Relevant qualifications and/or ongoing study in Mental Health, Disability, Nursing, or a related health field
- Current Peg Feeding and Manual Handling certification
- Up-to-date First Aid & CPR qualifications
- Confidence and competence in assisting clients with medication
- The ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain excellent time management while remaining calm under pressure
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $35.00 – $37.00 per hour
