Catholic Healthcare is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team on a casual basis at Bodington, our welcoming residential aged care home in the beautiful Blue Mountains.
About the Role
As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high quality, person centred clinical care to our residents, supporting their health, dignity, and wellbeing. Working collaboratively with the Care Manager, Residential Manager, and multidisciplinary team, you will ensure clinical best practice and compliance with aged care standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive clinical nursing care in line with best practice and Aged Care Quality Standards
- Conduct resident assessments, develop and review care plans, and respond promptly to changes in clinical condition
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Supervise and support personal care staff to ensure quality care delivery
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Liaise with families, GPs, and allied health professionals
- Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and infection control requirements
About You
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- Demonstrated experience in residential aged care (preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to person centred, values based care
