Combined Weld is seeking an experienced Welding Supervisor to join the team in Henderson workshop. This role is responsible for overseeing day-to-day welding operations, ensuring all fabrication work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable drawings, specifications, Australian Standards, and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily welding activities to ensure compliance with approved WPS, drawings, and project specifications.
- Monitor welding quality, workmanship, and welder performance.
- Coordinate and control the issue and storage of welding consumables.
- Ensure fabrication work complies with Australian Standards and quality requirements.
- Work closely with workshop management to maintain production schedules and quality objectives.
Essential Requirements
- Weld Australia Welding Supervisor AS2214 or AS1796 Certificate 10 – Mandatory
- Previous experience as a Welding Supervisor within heavy fabrication, structural steel, mining, or engineering environments.
- Strong understanding of Australian welding standards, fabrication practices, and quality requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage workshop welding activities.
