Home Hospice Australia is a newly formed palliative care agency in Melbourne that provides in-home care for people nearing the end of life or requiring respite. We offer palliative care and support up to 24 hours per day, providing compassionate, empathic care and support to our clients and their families. Our services are tailored to the client’s individual needs, working in conjunction with their ongoing medical team to ensure the best care is provided.
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Personal Care Attendants and Enrolled Nurses (non-endorsed) to join a new and dynamic team for casual work. Have you had enough of rosters and working shifts that don’t suit your lifestyle? If so, then this is the perfect job for you. Shifts available are AM, PM or night duty, depending on availability, which gives you flexibility to work the hours and days you choose. The role involves assisting clients in their home with personal care and hygiene, domestic duties, meal preparation, cleaning and providing emotional support to clients and their family members.
Home Hospice Australia are currently seeking experienced Personal Care Attendants and Enrolled Nurses (non-endorsed) to join our caring team. We are looking for kind, caring PCA’s and Enrolled nurses who are passionate about supporting clients in their final days. PCA’s and Enrolled nurses who can work autonomously and have good communication skills.
- Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or equivalent
- Certificate IV in Health (Nursing)
- Division 1 or Division 2 nurses who have let their registration lapse.
- Demonstrated ability to clearly communicate/write in English
- Residency/Working Visa in Australia
- Current Police Check
- Current Working With Children Check
- Manual Handlining Certificate
- Hand Hygiene Certificate
- First Aid / CPR certificate
