The Role
We’re looking for a Warehouse Operator to join our Melbourne Airport facility. Whether you’ve got solid warehouse experience or you’re eager to build a career in freight and logistics — we want to hear from you. What matters most is attitude, reliability, and a genuine drive to do good work.
What You’ll Do
General warehouse tasks including
o Loading and unloading of transport vehicles
o Palletising freight
o Wrapping completed pallets
o Daily housekeeping
o Complete weekly/daily operational checklists
o Unpack sea freight containers (palletised and hand unload)
Third party logistics requirements:
o Pick and pack daily orders
o Receive inbound goods
o Allocating locations accurately for inbound goods
o General stocktakes as advised by management
o Cross-checking orders prior to dispatch
o Assist other staff with varying clients
o Utilise RF scanner for all orders
o Report discrepancies directly to mangers
o Report any visible damage
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in warehouse or logistics — or a strong desire to learn and build a career in the industry
- A reliable, punctual person who takes pride in doing things properly
- Strong attention to detail and workplace safety
- Ability to consistently meet rostered shifts and work schedules
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Good communication and the ability to work well in a team and independently
- Physically capable of lifting up to 25kg
- Commitment to safe work practices
- Forklift licence is preferred but not required
