As our Home Services Lead, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality, person-centred services across home environments—ensuring every interaction reflects care, safety, and excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll guide your team, oversee daily operations, and drive service performance, creating a positive experience for residents, families, and stakeholders alike.
Lead the day-to-day delivery of food services, cleaning, and laundry services
Coach, support, and develop your team, building a strong, accountable, and engaged culture
Ensure services are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a consistently high standard
Oversee workflow, rostering, and operational performance
Maintain compliance with food safety, infection control, and quality standards
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and internal stakeholders
Identify opportunities to improve service delivery and enhance the customer experience
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and care
As an experienced service operations leader, ideally within aged care, healthcare, or a similar environment, you’ll be self-motivated, proactive, and bring strong leadership capability. You’ll empower your team to deliver safe, high-quality, person-centred services, while reinforcing the importance of food safety, compliance, and continuous improvement. You’ll demonstrate:
Strong knowledge of food safety, infection control, and service standards, supported by experience in a regulated environment
Experience leading teams across kitchen operations, cleaning and/or laundry services
Proven leadership capability, including coaching, rostering, and building a positive team culture
A proactive approach to problem-solving, organisation, and continuous improvement
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with residents, families, and stakeholders
Essential qualifications & licences:
Certificate IV in Leadership & Management (or Diploma)
A relevant trade or operational qualification (e.g. Certificate IV in Hospitality, Commercial Cookery or similar), or equivalent supervisory experience
Food Safety Supervisor Certification
Ability to satisfy all required probity checks in line with legislation and BlueCare policies
