About the Role – Motor Mechanic
Are you an experienced Motor Mechanic with relevant qualifications and at least 1 years Looking for a great opportunity and above award salary. Then come and join the team at JAX Tyres & Auto, Gilles Plains.
In this role, you would be working in a clean and tidy workshop alongside the team and also some customer contact regarding their vehicle, with good old-fashioned customer service.
Day-to-day tasks would include:
- General and Log Book Servicing
- Diagnostics
- Repairing and maintaining customer vehicles
- Identifying mechanical faults as well as issues with vehicle stability and tyre wear
- Fitting, rotating, and servicing tyres.
- Providing advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks found on customer vehicles.
- Safely operating hoists
About you
- MUST be a qualified Motor Mechanic.
- 1 year of experience as a qualified motor mechanic
- Excellent communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Be physically fit and able to carry out day-to-day tasks.
- Knowledge of WHS
- Experience working on various brands/models of vehicles.
- Available to work Saturday
- Current Australian driver's license.
