About the Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Assistant Valuer to join us in a flexible full-time or part-time capacity (3–4 days per week). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has completed, or is currently completing, a relevant property qualification and is eager to build a long-term career in Valuation. Working closely with experienced Valuers, you'll gain hands-on exposure to a diverse range of asset classes while developing the skills needed to progress towards full registration as a Certified Practising Valuer.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Valuers in completing property valuations to a high standard within client and company timeframes
Analyse and compile leasing and sales evidence to support Valuers
Assist with report compilation and property inspections
Maintain accurate records of field notes, sales data and utilise valuation systems
Provide a high level of customer service, liaising with clients professionally
Support management and contribute to team goals and professional development
Skills and Experiences:

Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to build rapport and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
Highly developed attention to detail
Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Outlook
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Ability to manage a varied workload and perform under pressure
Proven customer service skills and a professional manner
Some knowledge of the local Tasmanian property market
Some experience using AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) in a professional or study context
Essential Skills:
You hold, or are working towards, a relevant tertiary qualification in a related property field (to be completed within 2 years of commencement)
You hold a current and valid Australian Driver Licence
You own or have reliable access to your own motor vehicle (required for property inspections)
It is a condition of employment that a National Police Clearance be obtained (paid for by the business).
