Being a Tier 1 and 2 company for the Water Corporation for near on 40 years, we have built a long standing relationship with Perth's leading civil companies, to assist in the specialised field of the MSCL pipe lay and weld, from Greenfields to major infrastructure projects.
The right person will be able to demonstrate the below skills and competency's;
MSCL pipe lay and weld experience
In-house or Trade qualifications and minimum 3 years' experience
Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
Provide leadership and supervision for Non- trades staff on site.
Experience with fabrication and assembly of structural, general and piping assembly.
Welder qualification as a minimum to AS1554.1 SP – AS3992 and/or nominated welding procedures
Sound working knowledge of quality control principals and ability to comply with quality requirements
Ability to use multiple welding processes e.g. MMAW, FCAW (self-shielded), GTAW
Ability and willingness to work at various sites within WA for various lengths of time. Perth Metro and Regional
Ability and willingness to work in all weather conditions, e.g. hot, dry, wet
Ability to work to job schedules and liaise with supervisors / Inspectors to ensure work is completed in a timely manner to the nominated standards.
Cary out welding operations to the nominated standard and the relevant Welding Procedure Specification (WPS).
Care and maintenance of equipment.
High Level competency in reading and comprehension of assembly drawings.
Sound written and oral communication skills.
Pay: From $79,499.00 per year
