The Opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our Finance team based in Port Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where your insights will directly support business performance and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Prepare weekly and monthly management reports, including detailed variance analysis across Contract Logistics business units nationally

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis processes

Provide financial insights and support to operational teams

Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)

Support business improvement initiatives through financial modelling and analysis

Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies

Liaise with the national finance team and assist during audit processes

Support compliance requirements, including GST, FBT, and income tax reporting
About You
-
Degree-qualified in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline

CPA or CA qualified (or working towards)

Demonstrated experience in a similar management accounting role

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with financial systems

Exposure to Oracle Financials and/or Microsoft Great Plains (highly regarded)

Experience in logistics or supply chain (advantageous, not essential)
