Seafood Processing Workers – 2 Positions Available
Tasman Star Seafood Market is looking for 2 reliable and hardworking Seafood Processing Workers to join our growing team.
We’re looking for people who are comfortable working in a fast-paced seafood environment and take pride in producing high-quality products for our customers.
About the Role
Your duties will include:
- Processing and preparing fresh seafood
- Scaling, gutting, cleaning and portioning fish
- Filleting fish depending on experience
- Packing, weighing and labelling products
- Receiving and handling fresh seafood deliveries
- Maintaining a clean and organised processing area
- Following all food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures
- Assisting the wider seafood team when required
About You
We’re looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking
- Comfortable working with fresh seafood
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Able to work well as part of a team
- Willing to learn and take direction
- Available for early starts, weekends and busy periods when required
Previous seafood processing, fish filleting, butchery, kitchen or food production experience is highly regarded, but training can be provided to the right candidates.
