MUNDINGBURRAIGA PTY LTD has been operating an IGA grocery store located at Shop 1, 74-80 Ross River Rd, Mundingburra, Qld - 4812 since 2013.
We sell a wide range of grocery, fresh food, convenience, and retail products including meat, seafood, fresh produce, fruits, dairy products, frozen foods, canned foods, chips, confectionery, baking products, gluten-free products, BBQ items, cold drinks, and hot food.
Due to ongoing work demands, we are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Retail Manager to lead the daily operations by joining our workforce on fulltime basis.
Position Details:
- Location: Shop 1, 74-80 Ross River Rd, Mundingburra, Qld - 4812
- Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, with paid overtime as per applicable award rates. (Full-time)
- Salary: $77,000 per year plus superannuation as compensation.
What we are looking for:
· Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within a retail store or related retail environment, with 3+ years of experience.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills, with experience managing a sizable team.
· Familiarity with rostering, staff management, and reporting processes.
· A customer-focused mindset with the ability to drive a positive in-store experience.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in computer skills.
· Any relevant qualification (Diploma level or higher), such as in Leadership, Management, Business, etc.
· Experience with overseeing day-to-day operations, including sales, customer service, and inventory management.
· A passionate attitude that inspires the team to exceed goals.
· Experience in developing and implementing performance plans.
· A leadership style with an owner’s mindset.
· Knowledge of specialty retail, including business development, visual merchandising, and store operations.
· Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising staff, ensuring excellent customer service and adherence to company policies.
· Ability to develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability.
· Skilled in managing budgets and expenses, ensuring store operations stay within financial guidelines.
· Monitor inventory levels and order products as needed to maintain adequate stock.
· Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and other stakeholders.
· Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements, including health and safety regulations.
