Team Leader – Pave the Way (Sustaining Tenancies Program)
Location: New Farm, Brisbane
Part time fixed term contract till 2029 working 67.5 hours per fortnight | SCHCaDS Level 6 | Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Leader to oversee the Pave the Way program within our Sustaining Tenancies team. This role provides leadership, supervision and practice guidance to Lifestyle Support Workers, while holding a small case load of clients. The focus is on building capacity, strengthening tenancy sustainability, and supporting clients through challenges such as substance use, mental health, and complex barriers to housing.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, supervision and operational oversight of the Pave the Way program
- Support staff development, service quality, compliance and reporting requirements
- Deliver case management, advocacy and referrals to community, health, housing and legal supports
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders including housing providers and community agencies
- Support continuous improvement and best practice service delivery
About You
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in social work, community services or related field
- Strong knowledge of housing and homelessness sectors
- Experience working with clients with AOD and/or mental health challenges
- Proven leadership, team support and supervision skills
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational abilities
- Current Driver’s Licence, National Police Check, and Working with Children Check
