In addition to being a master of the Grill, Pans, and Pizza sections, your leadership responsibilities will include:
Service Leadership: Running the pass and coordinating the kitchen team to ensure efficiency and consistency during peak periods.
Team Mentorship: Supporting and developing our Chef de Parties, casuals, and apprentices.
Operational Oversight: Assisting with stock management, ordering, and ensuring "mise-en-place" is completed to a high standard.
Quality Control: Maintaining high food quality and presentation standards across all menu items.
Compliance: Upholding rigorous food safety (HACCP), cleanliness, and workplace health and safety standards.
We are looking for a professional who demonstrates:
Proven Experience: Significant experience in a high-volume commercial kitchen, ideally in a leadership or Senior CDP role.
Leadership Qualities: A positive, calm, and reliable attitude with the ability to lead by example under pressure.
Technical Excellence: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a high standard of consistency.
Communication: Clear communication and organisational skills to bridge the gap between front-of-house and the kitchen.
Commitment: Respect for the profession, teammates, ingredients, and our local guests.
Stable Salary: A competitive full-time salary package.
Work-Life Balance: No early morning starts and a supportive management structure.
Career Growth: Opportunities for professional development within an expanding hospitality group.
Culture: A strong team culture in a community-focused pub with a hands-on leadership team.
Perks: Plenty of on-site parking and great working conditions in a well-run venue.
