We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Retail Manager (General) to
oversee the daily operations of the business. The successful candidate will be
responsible for driving sales, managing staff, and ensuring an exceptional customer
experience.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and security
protocols.
Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and manage store
budgets/expenses.
Manage stock levels, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee product ordering and
visual merchandising.
Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff; manage rosters and conduct performance
reviews.
Maintain high service standards and resolve complex customer inquiries or
complaints.
Ensure the store operates in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) and
employment regulations.
Prepare regular reports on sales trends, stock turnover, and operational costs for
senior management.
Requirements (Skills & Experience)
Education: A relevant Diploma or higher qualification (e.g., Business, Retail
Management).
Experience: At least 2 years of relevant experience in a retail management or
supervisory role.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced
environment.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) systems and basic Microsoft
Office (Excel/Word).
Availability: Must be available to work flexible hours, including weekends and public
Holidays.
Pay: $90,000.00 – $98,000.00 per year
