We’re now looking for a Full Time Centre Director to join our vibrant team and help create inspiring learning experiences for young children.
Where you’ll work
Donald Children's Centre is set in the local community hub and uses this community connection to support and empower children to interact with the world around them in the various ways they need to grow into confident and engaging learners. We are seeking a Centre Director who values these connections to join us in creating a safe and fun-filled environment where all children can grow and learn.
Role Details:
Centre Director
38 hours per week
Leadership experience in an early childhood and care setting, including experience engaging in the Assessment and Rating process across both Kinder and Long Day Care contexts, is preferred.
What You’ll Do
As a valued member of our teaching team, you’ll:
- Support play-based learning programs that nurture each child’s growth and development
- Build warm, respectful relationships with children, families, and fellow educators
- Create safe, inclusive environments where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired
- Work collaboratively with your team to deliver exceptional education and care

What You’ll Bring
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or actively studying toward it)
- A genuine interest in supporting children’s development and commitment to ongoing learning
- Current Working With Children's Check, First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
- Great teamwork, communication, and reliability
