We’re seeking expressions of interest for the Secondment opportunity of Warehouse Team Leader on the Day Shift, supporting the Canning Vale DC.
Secondment details:

The end date of the secondment is 01/07/2027.

The secondment is a temporary move to another role within our business.
-
You don’t ‘leave’ your current role, you step out temporarily and return at the end of the specified period.
The role will be required to integrate and multi skill within other departments, to support the operational needs of the business.
As an integral part of our highly effective and engaged team, you will be responsible for:
-
The operational safety, efficiency, and productivity of the warehouse and embellishment teams
-
Pro-actively looking for process, service, and safety improvements, with solutions that drive the right outcome for Blackwoods and our customers
-
Communicating with other 2IC’s, Team Leaders, Supervisors, and Managers within WACV and other departments, to ensure site KPI’s and service targets are met
-
Assessing team member skill sets for succession planning and training needs
-
Assisting in leading & motivating team members, and managing unacceptable behaviour
-
Demonstrating the Blackwood’s Behaviours at all times, whilst engaging in respectful communication with staff, customers, vendors, and external service providers
As the successful applicant you will possess:

An aptitude for people leadership & team member engagement

The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and excel under pressure

Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal
-
Strong attention to detail, and effective prioritisation skills

A progressive approach to coaching, motivating, and supporting your team and peers

The drive to continuously improve, in developing both the role, and your own skill set

A genuine commitment to ensuring all Health & Safety policies and procedures are upheld
This is a full-time position working a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday, from 6:00am until 2:06pm, with an end date of 01/07/2027.
