Customer Service Representative
SNSW Clerk Grade 3/4 - starting annual salary $74,118 plus superannuation and leave loading
Location: Richmond Service Centre
Employment Type: Ongoing Part-Time 20 hours per week
Flexibility is essential, as this role operates across a six-day roster, including every second Saturday. Minimum shift duration is 4 hours.

Your Impact
As the first point of contact in our Service Centres, you will help customers feel supported, informed and confident using our services. Your friendly approach, patience, and ability to explain things simply will shape every customer’s experience.
You’ll work closely with your team to keep things running smoothly, create a welcoming environment, and handle complaints or complex enquiries with care and accuracy.
Your professionalism and commitment to great service will help build trust in our centres and encourage more customers to use our digital services.

In our Service Centres hours vary between locations. You can check the opening hours for each Service Centre here. Flexibility is required to work on a rotating roster between the Service Centre’s operational hours which may include Saturdays.
The Service NSW Award hours are 6:30am – 7:30pm (Monday to Friday) and 7:30am - 3:30pm (Saturdays). In some situations, you may be required to work during these hours.
Part-time – minimum 40 hours per fortnight- (Monday to Friday)
Full-time – 70 hours per fortnight
Hours are also subject to change based on the needs of the business.
Service NSW uses multi-staged recruitment methods based on merit principles for comparative assessment in accordance with the Government Sector Employment Act 2013. Sometimes this process can take up to 12 weeks or more, depending on the number of applicants. Employment with Service NSW is subject to a satisfactory national criminal record check.
