The Opportunity
As a Facade Manager, you will be responsible for managing the planning, coordination and delivery of facade packages from design through to installation and completion. Working closely with project teams, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, you will ensure facade works are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is an excellent opportunity for a technical construction professional who has extensive experience delivering complex facade systems across large-scale building projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, coordination and execution of facade installation works across all project phases.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Design Managers, consultants and subcontractors to ensure facade solutions align with project objectives.
- Lead facade design coordination, resolving technical issues and driving design outcomes.
- Oversee procurement activities including material selection, supplier engagement and subcontractor management.
- Develop and manage facade budgets, tracking costs and implementing cost-control measures where required.
- Maintain and monitor facade programs to ensure works are delivered in line with project milestones.
- Implement robust quality assurance processes and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure all facade works are carried out in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, approvals and as-built records.
- Identify and resolve project challenges, driving continuous improvement and lessons learned.
- Stay informed on emerging facade technologies, sustainable design initiatives and industry best practices.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience managing facade packages within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of facade systems, materials and installation methodologies.
- Experience delivering facade packages on large-scale projects such as high-rise residential, commercial, healthcare, education or mixed-use developments.
- Knowledge of a wide range of facade materials including glass, metal, stone and composite systems.
- Understanding of facade engineering principles, structural considerations and building performance requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively with project teams, consultants, engineers and subcontractors.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, procurement and project programs.
- Sound knowledge of building codes, regulations and relevant Australian standards.
- Demonstrated commitment to health, safety and quality outcomes.
