About the Role
This role supports the safe and efficient movement of goods across the hospital. You'll help manage stock levels, handle consumables, and deliver critical supplies to wards and departments. Great for someone who enjoys hands-on work and being part of a logistics team.
- Receive, store, and deliver hospital stock
- Maintain stock accuracy and quality
- Support ward and department supply needs
- Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock
- Operate vehicles and forklift for deliveries
Key Responsibilities
- Process incoming goods and verify against orders
- Organise and rotate stock to reduce waste
- Replenish and deliver ward consumables
- Perform rolling, random, and critical stock counts
- Safely handle and store flammable liquids
- Act as courier across wards and sites
Skills & Experience
- Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel)
- Forklift licence and valid VIC driver’s licence
- Physically fit for manual tasks and lifting
- Comfortable using inventory software (Epicor a plus)
- Knowledge of medical supplies is an advantage
