The Opportunity & How You Will Make an Impact
We are seeking an experienced property valuer to join our growing Economics & Property team in Melbourne as an Associate Director.
This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within our Specialist Valuation & Litigation team, working on complex and high-profile valuations including compulsory acquisition matters that help shape the future of cities and communities. You will be involved in all stages of the valuation process, including market research, financial and valuation modelling, report preparation, stakeholder engagement, and attendance at conferences and expert meetings.
Working alongside industry-leading professionals, you will provide strategic advice to a diverse range of clients while contributing to the continued growth and success of our nationally recognised team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive the successful delivery of projects while achieving personal and team revenue targets through strong client service and project management.
- Support forecasting, project budgeting and financial performance to ensure projects are delivered efficiently and commercially.
- Contribute to the delivery of strategic Economics & Property projects and key national initiatives.
- Provide technical guidance and project management support across the Economics & Property team, helping to ensure projects remain commercially successful.
- Partner with Directors and colleagues across the business to deliver broader business plan objectives and shared outcomes.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to collaborate across disciplines and business units on integrated, cross-sector projects.
- Build and strengthen client relationships, professional networks and industry connections to generate new business opportunities and sustainable growth.
- Stay informed on market trends, emerging opportunities and industry developments, providing insights that support business growth and strategic decision-making.
- Mentor, coach and support team members to foster professional development and high performance.
About You
- Certified Practising Valuer registration and associated tertiary qualifications
- Over 5 years of qualified valuation experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment
- Strong understanding of the drivers of residential property development, with advanced knowledge of preparing cash flows in Estate Master or a similar program
- An understanding of compulsory acquisition legislation and case law is preferred, but not essential
- Proven ability to manage and develop team members
- Proven track record of building new clients and business
