Looking for a meaningful leadership career that offers purpose, impact and growth? With more than 60 years of service across aged care, community care, retirement communities and affordable housing, Sundale is committed to empowering Queenslanders to live their best lives — and that includes our team members.
We're excited to be recruiting for a newly created Human Resources Business Partner Team Lead role at Sundale, a leading not-for-profit aged care and community provider on the Sunshine Coast. In this 18-month fixed-term role, you'll lead our HR Business Partnering team and make a genuine difference across our caring and community-focused organisation, delivering a consistent, people-centred partnering approach that supports Sundale's priorities, people leaders and broader workforce strategy.
You'll also play a defining role in two of our most significant people initiatives — bringing our business partnering model to life and leading our next enterprise agreement — with real opportunity to shape how it all comes together.
At Sundale, we live by our values:
- Care – Creating quality and meaningful experiences for everyone in the Sundale community
- Connection – Listening and responding to the needs of others
- Creativity – Finding better, innovative ways to do things and be part of our community
We offer a supportive, people-first workplace where your contribution truly matters.

You will work closely with leaders across Sundale to deliver practical, professional and people-centred HR solutions.
This role is also responsible for leading and overseeing enterprise bargaining, supporting organisational change, providing specialist workplace relations advice, and contributing to employee experience, retention, workforce planning and broader people strategy initiatives.
- Lead, coach and support the HR Business Partnering team to deliver high-quality, client-focused HR services
- Provide specialist advice on complex employee and industrial relations matters
- Support leaders with conduct, performance management, organisational change and workforce matters
- Lead enterprise bargaining activity from planning through to certification and implementation
- Develop strong stakeholder relationships across Sundale to drive performance outcomes and support strategic priorities
- Contribute to retention, workforce planning, employee listening and people strategy initiatives
- Use data and insights to identify workforce trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
- Prepare reports, briefings and presentations on complex people matters and strategic initiatives
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources
- Demonstrated experience leading an HR Business Partnering function and managing complex workplace relations matters
- Strong knowledge of employment frameworks and practices, particularly the Fair Work Act and enterprise bargaining processes
Appointment is subject to a National Police Check and a pre-employment medical assessment.
