We are seeking a compassionate, mature, and reliable Female Disability Support Worker to join our team and provide person-centred support to a female participant in her home and community.
About the Role
This position involves supporting a participant with daily living activities and assisting with community access while building a positive and trusting relationship. The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and friendly approach and be committed to delivering high-quality support tailored to the participant's individual preferences and goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
- Support community participation and social engagement.
- Promote independence and encourage skill development.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
- Follow individual support plans and organisational policies.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and the wider support team.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a warm, caring, and professional approach.
- Is patient, empathetic, and able to build rapport.
- Possesses strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Is reliable, punctual, and flexible with availability.
- Has experience supporting people with disabilities (preferred).
- Is confident working independently and as part of a team.
Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour
